Rebel Proton Grenade Complete Kit

This is something I made originally way back in 2007  (Building of and updated building of guide here)  and my original version was based solely on screen grabs from the film, and was sized using the vent on the side, which was also used for Darth Vader's reveal helmet and Dengars chest piece, so by having it allowed me to get the size as near the film used one as I could get.

Recently one was auctioned by the prop store and they released pictures of it, then the parts used were identified  so while my original version has had a good run, and I even sold a dozen to Disney which can be seen in Galaxies Edge, it seemed only right to update it. (See last two pictures one of the old version and one was sent by a freind which he took while there.)

I have found all the film used parts apart from the cable clip, knurled thumb screw, and top knob, but being quite simple, I made those myself from the pictures now available. 

Original parts include, the proper Kango motor housing, V8 engine kit cog, Audio slider rectangular knob, round audio knob, Thorne EMI photomultiplier, wading boot stud and 5mm LED cover.

It comes with two sets of decals, one as shown on the Prop Shop auctioned version and one taken from a screen grab of the film.  Personally I prefer the screen grab from the film, as that's what we all know and love, but the choice is yours.

I have also tweaked the basic design to make it more user friendly, like the screw on base with pre installed magnets, and a separate plate to hold the greebles and electronics should you decide to add them.  I also added screw heads to the photomultiplier vent, as screwing into resin can be tricky, but now they just stick on, but still look like they should.

This version is for the complete kit, as in all the parts needed to make one finished Proton Grenade.

I also plan sell just the parts on their own so if you already have the proper Kango housing, you can simply add the parts and turn that into a finished Proton Grenade as well.
