Model Hose Pipe

This is a 50cm length of scale hose pipe, which was one of those parts that took me a while to find, not because I couldn't find any suitable size tube, but because most was far too stiff to bend how it needed to go and didn't look authentic once in place on a scale model.

Finally after a lot of searching on both the interent and local shops, finally I found something that was not only the right size, but very flexible at the same time, plus it and could easily be stuck in place with superglue. 


Scale wise I used this on my 1:20 scale boat, but it could be used on models from 1:8 to 1:32


As you can see from the pictures, I have used it as pipe on my fuel drum pump, and glued it in place so it looks in a proper true to scale position, with the way it sits and hangs, and have also used it on my fire hose real.
