Description
With so many trucks around I thought I would do a range of wing vent covers bases as closely as I could get on the real versions, just to give people a choice when it comes to dressing their truck.
This version comes with a square mesh pattern as well as tiny bumps to imitate fixing bolts round the lip and still come as a set of three so you can have them all to match if you want, or ditch one if your using a wing or side snorkel.
For best results I found spray with a plastic primer first, (I use Hycote plastic primer,) then top coat to match or compliment your truck, and for added effect you can paint the recesses black which gives them a bit of depth, then dry brush the grill to highlight them, but it's up to you.
As for fitment apart from a hole needs drilling in the recess on the Gelande they are a direct replacement, but due to the wider bonnet and smaller gap between it and the top vent slots on the Team Raffee a tiny amount of fettling is needed on the underside to fit.
These come in black injection moulded nylon composite plastic.
