Landrover Front Bumper type 2

This is a replacement front bumper for the D90 styrene body and unlike the other one I make which is a more traditional version, this is a more modern version that incorporates a place for a winch.


It was based on pictures I found on the internet but I tweaked the design so that the commonly used 3 racing winch fits into it, with just the roller fairlead sticking out the front, or if just for appearance one of my static winches.


While it doesn't fit directly to the body, its fitted to the chassis so will require you to fit it as you see best.  To fully utilise the winch, it really needs a thin metal plate firmly fixing the winch to the chassis, that way allowing the full force to bypass the bumper and go from the winch to the chassis, as being resin is fairly strong, but a good hard jerk could break it. When fixing resin it does require a pilot hole drilling prior to screwing in.  Trying to screw directly into the resin without a pilot hole just a bit smaller than the screw will cause the resin to chip.
